from the land of no cable and very slow internet connection. needless to say, i am very bored.
my beach trip was really fun! we went to the beach a lot (duh) and to the new hard rock park. it was really cool, all the rides being rock-band-themed, like 'led zeppelin: the ride' and 'slippery when wet.' the latter was, naturally, a water ride and we got really wet. we rode the 'shake rattle 'n' rollercoaster' four times, even though it was just a kiddie ride. there was virtually no line, and hey, we knew where the camera was so we pulled faces every time we came around. the first time it was just me and hannah and manon, so we all made faces and manon bought the pic. the next couple we had lilly, and she saw us doing the 'rock on!' hand motion and tried it herself. she just ended up with two little index fingers pointing to the sky and a very terrified expression, which was nonetheless adorable.
hannah and i were going to get our faces painted like kiss, which would have been totally wicked, but the stupid line was like an hour. so we rode the 'eagles: life in the fast lane' twice and shrieked like banshees, even though there wasnt even a drop, or a loop, or anything remotely terrifying. we screamed almost as loud as we did at the jonas brothers concert, minus the hyperventilating and 'i love you's. almost.

hi...i am leaing for the beach with hannah today. and manon, their french exchange student. shes from paris and is TOTALLY COOL.

i just watched 'camp rock' and it was
FANTASTILISTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i totally hypervenilated with amanda the whole entire movie. we sat crammed together on the couch and held hands whenever joe came on and screamed and squealed and sang along and sweated (a lot) because all the jonas heat radiated from the tv screen.
btw, we are all at hannah's house watching jonas on the BIG screen. :)
and right after 'camp rock,' the BURNIN UP MUSIC VIDEO played!!!!!! and o m jonas it was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i will post it as soon as i can find it on youtube or something like that.

today was the last day of school...and as we all know, this is usually paired with excitement and anticipation for the best summer yet.

my band went to hershey park on friday. we had a blast! after we got there.we had to wake up at four in the morning and we were supposed to leave at five, but our bus driver was twentey minutes late. then she got lost on the way there. we passed through this aumish community to ask for directions and the little aumish girls came out and started waving at us. they make good cookies. anyways...we played and got superior, and so did the orchestra. then we all piled back on the bus to drive to the park. the whole way there emile and emily and i were all in the very back seat singing beatles and the cake song. :)
the roller coasters there were awesome! (why is it called a roller coaster? where did that come from?) there was one that had a bunch of loops, then brought you back up the hill and redid the whole ride backwards. and there was this other one called the storm rider (that we went on twice) that shot forward really fast and went up really high and then almost 90 degrees down. it was soo fun! taylor and i rode in the front car, and these older guys in front of us were so freaked out, so we started freaking out too. so, to stop me from having a heart attack, i sang 'hey jude' the entire ride. taylor was busting up laughing and we both had the 'windswept look' after getting off.
we all sang beatles songs on every ride. :)
then on the way home, emile, emily and i all piled on top of each other and tried to sleep but it was too loud.
needless to say, i was very lethargic today.

...joe jonas did on the third episode of the jonas brothers reality tv show, 'living the dream.' :)
yesterday i went to emile's end-of-the-year party. it was a blast! we stayed for like...nine hours. and we were all outside, all thirty-some of us, when it started raining. and, unlike normal people who go inside when it rains, we all started running around like crazy people. :) and singing jim carey's rendition of 'i believe i can fly' from 'fun with dick and jane.' then we got really really wet so emile's parents made us come in. all the girls ended up wearing emile's dads shirts over our camis because all ours were wet and in the dryer, and the guys just wandered around dripping water everywhere. then joey pulls out this comb from out of nowhere and starts styling matt's hair. it was so funny! he parted it in the middle so he looked all nerdy. we took lots of pictures. :) then at like eight o'clock, after all but nine or so of us had left, we watched '1408' which wasnt really that scary. we all cried because it was so sad. well, thats my friends for ya. we laughed when the scary people popped out of nowhere and cried when the people died. yup.
